The Guardian of Water Systems in Extreme Cold — An Intelligent Freeze Protection Solution Without Power
In RV travel, high-speed rail, and railway transportation, the domestic water system is central to ensuring a comfortable experience. However, during winter or in cold regions, once a vehicle is parked or out of service, the system is highly susceptible to freezing risks, leading to burst pipes, equipment damage, and even costly repairs and downtime losses.
Addressing this pain point, Wennin™ provides the FP15-35 Self-Acting Freeze Protection Valve, which requires no external power and intelligently senses the environment, offering safe and eco-friendly freeze protection for rail transit and mobile living facilities.
Winning™ FP15-35 Self-Acting Freeze Protection Valve – Intelligent Sensing, Worry-Free Safety
Based on the principle of thermal expansion and contraction of temperature-sensing materials, the FP15-35 Freeze Protection Valve is an intelligent control valve that precisely senses ambient and water temperatures without electricity. It is specifically designed to automatically prevent water systems from freezing in unpowered states.
Core Advantages
Self-Acting Operation
Operates entirely via its built-in temperature-sensing element, requiring no external power source. It is particularly suitable for scenarios involving vehicle parking, downtime, or power outages, preventing system freezing caused by human error, such as forgetting to drain or disconnect power.
Fail-Safe Design
Features a fail-safe logic design; in the event of a malfunction or failure, the valve automatically defaults to the open position. This ensures that even if the product fails, accumulated water is effectively drained, preventing system freezing and pipe bursts caused by product failure, thereby significantly reducing maintenance risks.
Intelligent Dynamic Modulation
The valve not only opens automatically when water temperature approaches freezing (1~4°C) but also increases drainage speed based on the degree of temperature drop, effectively balancing heat loss in the system. It closes automatically once temperatures rise, achieving “drip防冻” (drip freeze protection). This ensures freeze protection while minimizing water discharge, making it an eco-friendly solution.
Widely Applicable to Mobile & Stationary Water Systems
Designed for harsh environments, the FP15-35 Freeze Protection Valve is primarily used in the following core areas:
RVs (Recreational Vehicles):
Solves freeze protection issues for domestic water systems (e.g., sinks, showers, kitchens) during winter camping or parking, ensuring an uninterrupted living experience.
Trains & High-Speed Rail:
Suitable for train sanitation systems and domestic water facilities, ensuring water system safety when trains operate in cold regions or undergo maintenance in depots.

Installation & Engineering Recommendations
To ensure the freeze protection valve performs at its peak efficiency within the system, please adhere to the following installation principles:
Location Selection
- Pressurized Systems: Install at the end of the pipeline pressure or before the pipeline enters the room.
- Open Non-Pressurized Systems: Install at the lowest point of the system.
Orientation Requirement
- Must be installed vertically downward.
Environmental Sensing
- Must be installed in a location capable of sensing the lowest system temperature.
- Strictly prohibited to install near heat sources (such as poorly sealed pipeline inlets or beside flue outlets) to prevent the valve from failing to sense the true low temperature, which would result in ineffective freeze protection.
Pipeline Optimization
- To reduce drainage volume, insulation treatment can be applied to the freeze protection valve and pipelines.
- It is generally not recommended to connect drainage pipelines after the freeze protection valve, as poor drainage may affect the normal operation of the valve.
System Coverage
- A freeze protection valve should be installed on every water pipe branch requiring freeze protection.
