TM series Return Bypass Valve

Description

Specification

 

• Standard Temperature: 37°C, 45°C, 60°C
• Special Temperature Available.
• The regulating valve no 6 should be set at 10% of the total water volume.
• Unless noted, all set points listed have a +/-3 °C tolerance range.

Design Features

• Easy installation with pipe wrench.
• Discharges the minimum amount of water required to prevent freeze damage.
• Sensitive to temperature only.
• The Winning Three-Way valve is equipped with a pre-set constant temperature control and it is used as mixer in different applications.
• Winning TM temperature control valve is designed for 3-way mixing or diverting applications.

Boiler Return

Hot water from the boiler and return water from the heating sytem are mixed in the valve.

Diverting System

The liquid bypasses the cooler when cold so the system reaches the desired operating temperature quickly.

Mixing System

Hot water from the heat source and cold water from the cooler are mixed in the valve.

Function

The models TM 01 and TM 02 incorporate a fixed bypass; The control temperature for path A — AB: approx 45 °C

Installation of a regulating valve in the bypass between the boiler flow and return is recommended (see diagram)

The models TM11 and TM12 are designed with a closing function on the bypass At a mixing temperature of approx 50 °C the bypass is closed (B-AB branch) and opens again at a temperature of approx 42 °C.

The installation of a regulating valve in the bypass is not necessary.
